Description

In the late afternoon, drive towards the Tonle Sap Lake and make a brief stop at Wat Athvea. This 12th century temple was used as a training ground for workers who would later build Angkor Wat. Continue to Chhong Kneas floating village where your boat awaits you for a trip onto Tonle Sap Lake. In the wet season, the lake expands to 16,000km², making it the largest fresh water lake in Southeast Asia. Admire sunset at a secluded spot on the lake and take in the peace and scenery. Enjoy a sunset cocktail and canapés before returning to the port for a transfer back to town. Return to the port after sunset and head back to Siem Reap by car. Tour ends.
